Fall at Longwood
How lucky are we to live so close to Longwood Gardens?!!! We became members last year, so now we can go whenever we want! They do such an amazing job with their fall display that we just had to come twice this year. Once was on an early afternoon play date so we went without daddy and Max, but we made certain they could join in on the fun the second time around. Here are some great pictures from our super fun trips here...
This and That in September
Other miscellaneous things in September:
It seems like shortly after Sam's birthday every year he gets a crazy respiratory infection, complete with a fever and wheezing cough. Poor guy--he is so tough. He just sucked it up for all of his breathing treatments and took all 3 of his different medications like a champ.
The boys got new dirt bike gear this fall--cool new riding jerseys and pants. Look how huge they look in their awesome outfits!
Max...
Sam...
My sweet little Jack. Like all my boys, he LOVES to swing.
Picnic at the park...
Sam had a play date with a couple of his best buds--they had a blast!
Jack enjoying one of his favorites--Ketchup!!!

Soccer
All three of the Blane Boys played soccer this fall. Jack played for his very first time! He was a bit tentative at first and did a lot of standing around and watching, but toward the end of the season he was totally into--running up and down the field and kicking the ball. It was super cute to watch. He finally had his own sport and his own team--he has definitely done enough watching of his brothers'. Jack loved his shirt, shin guards and cleats--he wore them every day for a couple of weeks, and we even had to pry them off of him at bedtime. He is so awesome!
Instead of doing it through the Y like we usually do, Paul and I decided to put Max and Sam into a soccer league that was a little more "hard-core" and organized. They did great, and it was fun to watch them improve over the season. I am totally a soccer mom!
