Whenever anyone asks my boys what their favorite thing they did in Utah was, their first response is always "Playing with our cousin Brooks." But, their next most fun thing is: Riding horses! They especially loved this year since we let them ride solo--holding the reigns and steering the horse themselves. In fact, after the first day of riding, Sam's first question every morning was, "When can we ride horses today?" He loved it probably more than anyone and was very persistent in getting someone to saddle and supervise his jaunts around the property every day. Maybe next year he will be ready for the mountain!! Below are pics of everyone enjoying the horses, including me! I got to go on a very fun and scenic cow-gathering adventure with dad and Jake.
