Out here in the 'burbs of Philadephia, we are fortunate to live so close to so many cool attractions, one of which is Longwood Gardens which has over 1,000 acres of exotic plants and horticulture. It is like Red Butte on steroids and it is literally 15 minutes from our house. I usually take the boys there a couple of times a year, but this year we decided to buy a family membership so we can go anytime and as many times as we want! Every season they change the displays and the themes--it really is a magical place. We took Mimi there during her visit in late September. As you can imagine, the photo opportunities at this place are ample, and as the collection below indicates, we took many pictures!
The two groups of pictures below are super funny. Max had my phone and was busy taking all kinds of pictures. When he got Sam to pose for him in front of a water fountain I quickly grabbed my Nikon and captured the shot as well. So, the photos on the left are the ones I took at the same moment as Max was taking the photos on the right. Look at Sam's cute face
We always have a marvelous time at Longwood, but toward the end the boys legs get a little tired from all of that walking. Sam scored a great ride...
